I have never come across a routine that takes a linked list of PE's and creates the corresponding ASN.1 encoded bit stream. Of course, PEs actually contain BER encodings, except for tag and length values which are generated dynamically, in fact p327 of The Open Book has the details about how a PE is converted to a BER encoding. What does int2prim do ? seems related to this question, and ps2pe ? I have come across some explanations in The Open Book, but more details are always welcome, what ? sincerely, Subhendu Ghatak
