	Of course if you name a file "c" and it contains
"cat c", then you have a 6 character self reproducer.  If you
link "cat" to "x" then "x c" would be a 4 character self-reproducer.

The ultimate self-reproducer contains 0 characters -- when
you execute it it does nothing.
