A little more info would seem in order with respect to my previous post. Originally I asked, > I'm running 6.8 on a Sun 4.1/SunLink 6.0 platform. I am using > only the realNS address family (no tcp/ip, just "OSI"). I > can't figure out how to get isode to put a Transport selector > in a Connect Request. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. To qualify this, I am interested in how to get isode to send out the calling selectors, not the called, on a connect request. I found that the ftam-assoc module has a NULLAEI and NULLPA in the FInitializeRequest call and this would seem to be the key. I put in a patch to have the AEI and PA looked up and then put in the FInitializeRequest but this did not work as the initiator then tried to use it's own address to connect to. The reason I want to do this is because I am trying to connect to a responder which requires a calling presentation selector. Thanks to all those who told me about the isoentities file even though I already understood this... -- uunet!cos!grieve | Opinions expressed are not | Typos are intellectual 1750 Old Meadow Rd | necessarily those of the | property of the author.
