From my point of view, Gnews is still the best tool to read News (although you need a fast machine...) I am still using 2.0 which has small bugs, and I was wondering if 2.1 will ever be released. Is Matthew Wiener still working on Gnews? or is Gnews an orphan software? -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Francois Felix INGRAND SRI International, AIC felix@AI.SRI.COM 333, Ravenswood Avenue felix%AI.SRI.COM@UUNET.UU.NET MENLO PARK, CA 94025, USA "Pourquoi tant de haine..." Hopefully I'll recover my 2.1-in-progress work; it's currently inaccessible. The main improvement, I recall, was buffering of long articles. In the meantime, I'll see if I can integrate mail with Gnews. My time is tight for now--I don't think we'll see 2.1 until December.
