I dunno if this is really a bug.. But our system runs a SYSV derived version of unix (masscomp RTU). Some of the the filenames in the bash (1.01) distribution got are longer that 14 chars, and are truncated on untaring. While I would agree that 14 chars may be a crazy limit for an operating system, some of us have no choice in the matter.. So, any chance of keeping filenames shorter in future releases? Thanks, /Jamie
