I'll forward this to the newsgroup (and again to the list, sorry!)

When your mail arrived here, it had a bad message-id, so the gateway
to gnu.bash.bug barfed all over its shoes...

Is there a way to specify the binding for keys in the insert-keymap *and*
   the movement-keymap of vi-mode?

I have users here who are stuck on vi (*bleugh*) and they would like to be
able to set various keys up in both vi keymaps.

Also, what is the extent of the keymaps and bindings? Can one bind a key to
   a bash function?
