[gnu.bash.bug] Meta-key definition

pae@cos.com (Paul A. Ebersman) (08/05/89)

GNU Emacs recognizes the "Left" and "Right" keys on a Sun keyboard as
META. I would like the same thing for the command-line editing in bash.

Could someone explain how I might do this?

I did it for version 1.03. How about if I let you all have 1.03 now?

Is this a call for votes? If so, I vote YES -- release 1.03!
