Quite simply, it crashes on a ^C, segmentation faults ! bash-1.01 didn't do this. I did apply those vi additions which came along a short while ago, maybe something to do with that. For the sake of background, It's on an Apollo 3000 (blah), so I defined the TARGET in the Makefile to be SUN3 (worked for 1.01). All I want is for ^C to be the interrupt character. The other strange thing is that on a ^G it seems to backup onto my prompt, although it could be the Apollo. While we're here, I have already mentioned this to Brian Fox, but in an xterm, only occasionally, when I do a "resize" I get an "Apollo specific fault" which is from their version of <sys/signal.h> Any one got ideas for any of the above ? Note: This is my second posting, the first never made it. Since then, I've found the error in a call to the ioctl function in readline.c in the function rl_restart_output(). That is, it never returns from ioctl(). - Robi -- Robert Karp :- robi@attila.esa.oz.AU -: // ///// {uunet,mcvax,ukc,nttlab}!munnari!attila.esa.oz!robi // ///// Snail: 15-17 Paraween Street,Cremorne, NSW 2090 \\ XX\XXX// Tel : (+61) (02) 953 9488 \X/\XXXX/
