[gnu.bash.bug] Compilation problem on Sun 4/260

palkovic@LINAC.FNAL.GOV (John A. Palkovic) (09/20/89)

Hardware: Sun 4/260
Operating System: SunOS 4.0.1
Compiler: Sun c compiler (cc)
Bash Version: 1.03
Well I compiled bash-1.02 in a relatively painless fashion by making
the suggestes mods to the Makefile but when I tried to compile
bash-1.03 this is what showed up in my emacs *compilation* buffer:

>> make -k
>> cc -DMAINTAINER='"allen"' -DPPROMPT='"bash\\$ "'\
>> -DSPROMPT='"bash>"' -DOS_NAME='"SUNOS4"' -DSYSTEM_NAME='"SUN4"'\
>> -g -DSUN4 -DTARGET=SUN4 -DSUNOS4 -I./ -c shell.c
>> "shell.c", line 823: redeclaration of throw_to_top_level
>> *** Error code 1
>> make: Warning: Target `bash' not remade because of errors
>>
>> Compilation finished at Wed Sep 20 11:48:59

Is this something obvious? I am not an expert c programmer.
