We recently moved from bash 1.03 to 1.04 (we *were* going to wait for 1.05, but...) and now our rsh scripts are broken. It appears that bash 1.04 does *not run any scripts* (e.g. /etc/profile) on rsh. Is that true, or are we doing something wrong? We have an /etc/profile on the yp master (dash) that provides a minimum environment, but the command rsh dash env clearly shows only the bash default environment. Thanks for a great shell. Thanks, Brian. Your dedication and support to this shell is outstanding. (But when *is* 1.05 going to come out?) Jeff Barratt barratt@dash.mitre.org
