[gnu.bash.bug] bash on a Cray X/MP

jwe@EMX.UTEXAS.EDU (John W. Eaton) (02/27/90)

I have been trying to get bash 1.04 to work on a Cray X/MP14se running
Unicos 5.1. I managed to get it to execute, but only if I specify
-norc (or don't have any of the standard initialization files in my
home directory). Also, once it is running, it hangs on trying to
source or execute scripts.

Has anyone been successful in getting bash to work under any version
of Unicos? If so, I'd like to know your secrets...

Also, does anyone keep an archive of gnu.bash.bug? I didn't see one
on prep.

Thanks,

John Eaton
