All submissions to soc.feminism go to the address
feminism@ncar.ucar.edu. We record all mail sent to this address and
archive it monthly. Thus, the archives include accepted submissions,
rejected submissions, and questions. You may see slight differences
in some articles, particularly if the moderator asked that a
submission be modified, since the modifications are usually mailed
directly back to the moderator rather being sent through
feminism@ncar.
You may pick up copies of these archives via anonymous login to
ics.uci.edu. To do so, follow the instructions below:
ftp ics.uci.edu (or, 128.195.1.1)
anonymous (login ID)
guest (password)
cd pub
get sf-archive.<monthyear>.Z (e.g., sf-archive.sep89.Z -- use ls to see list)
quit
Once you have the archives, you will need to uncompress them to view
them.
If you have any problems, please send questions directly to me
(tittle@ics.uci.edu), do not post your questions or send mail to the
other moderators. If you do not have compress/uncompress at your
site, or ftp is otherwise unavailable, contact me and I'll send them
to you via mail (be sure to supply several possible mail paths).
