[soc.feminism] locker rooms ain't nothing--how about men's clubs?

The claim that men's clubs discriminate in business and therefore
should be illegal is, unfortunately, probably valid. The Old Boy
network and all that.

On the other hand, I can't go to Mills College. One COULD argue that
this is also unfair because I'm being denied the education I want,
that this puts me at a disadvantage in the market, etc.  Perhaps a
weaker argument, but amazing to me that the very same people who are
so violently opposed to men's clubs so violently DEFEND the existence
of women-only colleges.

Either we throw open the doors and eliminate all gender barriers, or
we don't--but at LEAST let's be fair about it.
