Of course if I don't agree with what my church teaches then there will be a serious problem with my remaining a member. If my church "changes" and decides to begin promoting Communistic ideals, my membership days will be numbered. Accordingly, if my church espouses homosexuality as being acceptable in God's eyes, I will no longer support that church. I am no judge of anyone and understand that God loves us all, no matter what we've done, who we are or where we've been. But part of being saved and becoming a Christian is that the Holy Spirit will bring about a change within you giving you the strength to resist sin wherever it comes upon you. Not to change a sinful lifestyle means that salvation probably never took place; the conviction that comes upon every man (or woman) that he is a sinner and needs forgiveness and must change his ways obviously has not taken place. -- Marcus wordproc@ucf-cs.ucf.edu
