I will share what I have found: James 1:27 talks about helping the widow and the fatherless and also about keeping oneself blameless before the world. Micah 6:6-8 talks about how Israel thought God was please by sacrifice or offerings but God says he want people to do justly and love mercy and to be humble before God. James 2:15-17 gives a story of someone in need and someone who talks about helping but does not help. God's religion is one that helps the people in need. Matthew 22:37-40 Gives the whole of the religion of the Bible LOVE for God and LOVE for man. LOVE is described in 1 Corinthians 13 and 1 John 3:16. The Bible religion is of LOVE and some might disagree pointing to stories in the Bible where they can't see love, but 1 John 3:16 says it all God came and helped and dies for my sin. Men in the Bible fought for power and the results of sin are seen from the first day of sin till now. It is a CHOICE. CHOOSE ! Zac
