I second this; it is a terrific album. I understand from the guy at
the store that this is the first in what will be a trilogy on this
topic. His first trilogy on the life of Christ is supposed to be
just as good, so I will buy that ASAP.

One thing I especially like is that a number of the songs are the
kind that work well in small fellowship groups or personal devotions.
My favorites so far are "The Word Is So Near", "God Will Provide a Lamb",
and "In the Wilderness".

If I may post my thoughts also, then let me ALSO recommend these to everyone
who wants to listen to some wonderful music that concentrates on the love of
God. 'In The Beginning' is an excellant collection that believers should
listen to and get a 'grip' on the OT (stories put to music). Absolutely
beautiful!!

Yes (it is) -- get it!

If you have a CD player, you can get a good deal on this. We bought the
trilogy at one of his concerts on a 2-disc set, which was a lot cheaper.
It came in a box with a study booklet. It is called 'The Life'. We also
bought his first 2 albums on 1 CD. They are both good, but I don't know
what they are called offhand.
