Chris tacked onto the end of one post: >[Have I told you about the incident in which an Episcopal priest >managed to consecrate and serve shampoo? --clh] which reminded me of an anecdote that appears in _What is Catholicism?_ by Paul Hallett. It seems that a priest at some point walked into a baker's shop and consecrated all the bread. (he wasn't explicit about the reason for this, but it apparently had not been expected by the baker). Does anybody know any other "odd" anecdotes along these lines? (I hope nobody finds these offensive or takes them as an excuse to lambaste someone's religion (Chris, you have my permission to kill this thread before it starts, if you like)... I see these anecdotes as a humourous reminder of just how human we all are). -dh --- Don Hosek dhosek@ymir.claremont.edu dhosek@ymir.bitnet uunet!jarthur!ymir
