[soc.religion.christian] the Roman Catechism

jhpb@granjon.garage.att.com (08/08/90)

About the closest thing that there currently is to an official catechism
is the catechism of the Council of Trent, sometimes called the Roman
Catechism. It can be obtained from TAN.

It is arranged as an explanation of the Creed, Our Father, and 10
Commandments, if memory serves me correctly. It was originally put out
for parish priests in the 16th C.
