A.R. means 'anal retentive'. It's a psychological term invented by Freud (I think). Freud said that a child goes through many stages, one of them being the anal stage (i.e., potty training), and if he doesn't successfully make it through this stage he becomes anal retentive. Someone who is anal retentive needs to have things neat and tidy, even down to the smallest inconsequential details. Not to say that Theomatics are such details. It just takes someone who's into details to get fired up about this stuff. Thanks again. John K.
