Concerning Gen 3:14,15, it makes sense that it should read "he will..."
because this phrase is refering, not to the woman, but to her
seed. And her seed is Jesus Christ, so it would make sense that the
scripture uses a masculine pronoun.

[Most commentators believe this passage was referring to the general
enmity between people and snakes, and thus that it was a collective
reference to all offspring.  That doesn't mean that the Messianic
interpretation is inappropriate.  After all, Jesus is one of Adam's
offspring, and delivers a particularly crushing blow, so there's
nothing wrong with saying that the passage applies to him with
particular appropriateness.  --clh]
