I currently have a group of 12 pc-at's in an engineering environment. I also have 3 UNIX machines running bsd 4.2. I have all the unix machines on the net, but the real problem is that the AT's aren't. I am looking for a system where I talk to the PC's from the Unix machines and also talk to the Unix machines from each one one of the PC. (Local Area Network) I would like remote login remote execution of commands (Unix / MS-DOS) remote copy remote shell ms-dos/Unix file transfere Is there anyone out there that has a system that solves these problems. Who has the best LAN and why? Please respond to me : Curt Jutzi tektronix!iddic!jutz tektronix!pogo!jutz tektronix!gpp1!golem!jutz thanks

This provides telnet and tftp. Contact John Romkey romkey@borax.lcs.mit.edu (617) 253-6020 for details. A new company, FTP Software, will be marketing a newer version of this software which will support ftp and Berkeleyisms like rlogin, rsh, rcp, etc. They can be reached at (617) 497-5066, or P.O.Box 150, Kendall Square Branch, Cambridge MA 02142. This is one of the faster TCP/IP implementations I've seen. It also has a complete ICMP layer, unlike Wollongong and several other TCP/IP's being marketed. -Mark arpa: mar@borax.lcs.mit.edu usenet: inhp4!mit-eddie!mar

(Local Area Network) I just got information in the mail about a package from EXCELAN for the PC. So far, all I've been asked to do is to gather information on PC-othermachine networking packages. Ditto with Woolongong (although I'm not a big fan of theirs due to their lack of subnetting support).
