JESUS IS LORD! I MUST TELL YOU BECAUSE I REALLY DO LOVE YOU ALL!
What is a Christian? Have you been born again? Preach the WORD (KJV)
not JUST give our testimony (do both!) because the Bible says "The law
of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: ...." (Psalms 19:7)
Jesus is the "only-way"! In John 3:3-8 Jesus said himself
that "...ye must be born again of the water and the Spirit..." So what I'm
trying to say is so many people today call themselves "christians" when they
have not even experienced really being "born again". They say they love Jesus
yet don't even know the books of the Bible much less obey ALL the scriptures
or watch more tv (HELLevision) than they ever pray or fast! I'd like to ask
some questions to challenge us all to investigate scriptures and history...
1) Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed? (Acts 19:1-6)
Something happens beyond belief and repentance! Pray about this, Please!?!
2) How where you baptized? (Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, Luke 24:45-47 Acts 22:16
Acts 8:16,10:48,4:12, Colossians 3:17, I Peter 3:20,21) to name a few....
3) Do you believe that there is no private interpretation of the scriptures?
(II Peter 1:20)
4) Do you believe that you should let the scriptures interpret scripture?
(Isaiah 28:9,10 Matt 18:16)
5) What did Jesus say about being Born Again? Must be born of water & Spirit
6) What did Peter teach about baptism? Do it in Jesus name.
Let's not ask whether we should stand or kneel to pray but just "PRAY".
That is not a life/death or heaven/hell issue but what "tradition" has
taught us over the years compared to what JESUS says in HIS WORD is what
we all need to investigate ...... What is TRUE SALVATION?????????????????
This IS a life/death/heaven/hell matter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't trust me or your Pastor but look it up yourself you can TRUST THE WORD!
I hope you realize my intent is to encourage you.... the Bible says
we are obligated to reach out, pray, have a burden for the lost but
....... So many think they are saved because they are basically
"good" people, that our "loving" God will accept all in the end....
Jesus said "...ye can not serve two masters...."
Any way , Preach the "word" and don't be weary in well doing!
Yes, I was baptized in the name of Jesus for the remittance of my sins!
Yes, I was baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in
tongues (don't confuse with the Gift of tongues/which is separate!)
and Yes to the best of my ability thru the guidance of the
Holy Ghost, Bible study, prayer, fasting, and just old fashioned "faith"
I shall endure to the end and be a servant to my God, Lord and (even)
Savior Jesus Christ whom I owe all and give all worship to!
God wrapped Himself (John 1:1,14 4:24) in flesh and died for me (and All)
and He alone is our Savior (Isaiah 43:10,11,15 44:8, 45:21-23 Matt 1:21)
His name is JESUS!!!!!!!! Praise God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of you have been questioning TRINITY, keep researching, you are on
the right path because there is no such thing! In the near future when I
have more time to type I will give you references not only from the Bible
but old encyclopedias that reveal how trinity was propagated by the Catholic
church in the 2nd century and also changed water baptism from in "The name
of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST" to the TITLES of "the Father,son and Holy Ghost".
Satan is called the Father of perdition.....think about it.
Read Job 13:6-10 John 4:24
I am NOT just attacking Catholic DOCTRINE (not PEOPLE) but challenging all!
Very few Churches today teach all of the TRUTH! I was brought up in the
Nazarene denomination which said receiving the Holy Ghost went out with the
apostles and based that on I Cor 13:8 "Charity never faileth:but whether
there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall
cease;whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. (verse 9) For we
know in part and we prophesy in part. (10) But when that which is perfect
is come, then that which is in part shall be done away."
I ask you: Has knowledge vanished away? or is High technology just a dream
of mine? Verse 10 is referring to the 2nd coming not the birth of Jesus
this was written AFTER His birth,death and resurrection!
Do you accept Jesus' death wherein HE died in your place?
Yes? Then you are a believer... But have you repented of your sins?
Did you obey Acts 2:38 and have your sins remitted by being baptized in the
name of Jesus? Buried with him Colossians 2:11,12 ? Received the baptism of
the Holy Ghost which Jesus commanded them (and it's our promise too!) to
wait for in Jerusalem (about 500 watched him ascend into Heaven but only
120 were obedient in being in the upper room, including Mary the Mother
of Jesus) All thru Acts every time someone recevied the baptism of the
Holy Ghost they knew it privately (for their own satisfaction) and heard
it publically for every one else's witness by "speaking in another tongue
as the Spirit gave utterance..."
There is so much more to share... will you believe God's word and someone
who has recently experienced this or will you only listen to people teach
on something they have never experienced?
I dare you to pray and ask God as I did "God if receiving the baptism of
the Holy Ghost is a commandment I must obey and a GIFT you want to give
me to help me be an overcomer than I ask for it and accept it right now
in JESUS name. Amen." If you will repent, pray this prayer then just start
thanking God for HIS GIFT and praising and worship Him you will receive
because He wants us to put on the whole armour of God! Luke 11:9-13,Eph
6:18.....

This reply is aimed letting everyone know that much of what is labeled truth in the original posting is not. I'll only respond to what I consider to be the most important parts. I don't intend to ridicule or condem the author but I must challenge what is being said. ! So what I'm ! trying to say is so many people today call themselves "christians" when they ! have not even experienced really being "born again". Assuming for a moment that you're interpretation of "born again" is the TRUE one (which I doubt). Are you trying to tell us that you have a way knowing what another person has experienced spirtually? Further that you have used this knowledge to conducted some sort of test on a large number of christians and found these results. Or is this just your way of telling us that most Christian denominations don't agree with your interpretation of "born again"? ! You seem to be setting "Tradition" (and I have to assume that your refering to Catholic spiritual and religious Tradition since current historical and cultural tradition would be irrevlevant here) in opposition to the Word of God as it's found in the Bible. The fact of the matter is that they are not in opposition. They agree and compliment each other. ! Don't trust me or your Pastor but look it up yourself you can TRUST THE WORD! Here you are clearly telling us that private interpretation of the Bible is the ONLY thing that we can trust. The Bible was not given to you or to me individually. It was given to all of us. The way to interpret the Bible is in concert with the concensus of a well informed majority (for me this means the scholars and Saints of the Catholic Church throughout it's history). This is how we arrive at the TRUTH. In fact God guaranties that we will arrive at the TRUTH in this way. No such guarantee exist for the private individual interpretting scripture in a vacuum. !
