[soc.religion.christian] Michael W. Smith on Rick Dee's

pyr440@oz.plymouth.edu (Computer Junky) (10/21/90)

This last monday, a contemporary Christian Artist was on Rick Dee's Late
Night Show. This amazed me. Unfortunately Monday Night Football Went long
and my VCR taped the news and only part of the show. I did get most of
Mickey Rooney, who is by the way a Born-again Christian, but it shut off
before Michael W. Smith (MWS) came on. So I missed it. I saw this man
in concert and have most all of his tapes. I was moved at his concert by the
holy spirit, this man was great.

Did anyone out there see this show?

Did anyone by chance get it on tape?

Do you know if his is doing anymore talk shows?

I am an avid fan of his ministry and I also know alot of people who feel the
same as I.

Please Email me at PSC or Drop me a line through the US Mail if you can
help. Thanks for you help in advance.

"Say it ain't so Michael, Say it ain't so..."

I love it when Christian's/Christian Artists are highlighted by the National
media - including print and TV. I have seen Amy Grant on Carson (?) before and
I have seen many CCM artists on Nashville Now (TNN) - but please - not on
Rick Dee's show!!! Please no!!! Rick Dees was thrown off of radio as one of
the sickest (to use an adjective) DJ's in the nation!!! I have never heard a
more disgusting person in my life (I have never heard Andrew Dice Clay).

Why would MWS agree to be on his show??? Why would Dees invite Smith on his
show??? How do you feel about supporting someone as sick as Rick Dees?
As a side note, i would like to know what MSW said on the show. Sid Bram
(Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman) gave a great witness on both TV and radio
here in the burgh. it would be great if MWS did the same, but I cannot bring
myself to support Dee's show.
