Anyone know of an inexpensive optical link between two sites? Line-of- sight distance is about 5 miles, unobstructed (bldg roof to tower). Desired rate is 9.6K or better; optical is preferred to avoid radio licensing issues. Please respond by mail. Thanks. Douglas Humphrey eneevax!deh

Anyone know of an inexpensive optical link for line-of-sight transmission in the range of 5 miles? Requirement is to link from an office building to a nearby tower.
