[soc.religion.christian] 20th Century Papacy

nash@ug.cs.dal.ca (Brian A. Nash) (11/23/90)

I am doing research into the papacy of the 20th century for my own personal source library. This would include encyclicals, biographies, decrees, documentaries(video or reel film) and any news articles of noteworthy concern. I already have a quite extensive amount of material on Popes Pius XII, John XXIII, Paul VI, and John Paul II. I am looking for any recomendations anyone out there might have, I am particularily looking for a good bioraphy of Pope John Paul I. Any suggestions you might have would be

much appreciated. I will post a bibliography of the information I recieve along with some general church history of the 20th Century at the beginning of January.
Any information can be e-mailed to me directly. I would also appreciate hearing from anyone else with an intrest in Church history of this time period to exchange information and ideas with. If anyone has any information about the history of the Orthodox or Protestant churches development at this time it will be greatly appreciated as well
