I think the original poster also pointed out the significant 'sin'.
Lot's wife(what was her name??), dis-obeyed the God's command. Whereas,
Lot, who offered his virgin daughers to the crowd, and later
commited incest with them, did not! The God had not yet revealed the
eternal law against such actions.
