I am searching for texts that establish a scriptural template for remembering the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Here are the texts that I have found to date: "I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. "-- 1 Cor 15:31 (NKJ) "Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through bap- tism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection," -- Rom 6:1-5 (NKJ) "buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead." -- Col 2:12 (NKJ) "For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes." -- 1 Cor 11:26 (NKJ) If you know of any more texts please email and/or post your findings. Thanks, Dave
