Following up my posting of yesterday, two further points: 1. I have nothing to do with the University of Melbourne, and my opinions are mine alone. I just use a guest account on one of their host's from time to time. 2. In fairnes to TWG, the Excelan TCP/IP only gives you TCP/IP over Ethernet, whereas TWG's gives you drivers for all sorts or Ethernet controller boards, as well as for 64kbps serial lines (sync) and maybe even for async if I have read the documentation right. Personally, I would put that sort of thing out on the Ethernet anyway, where it belongs in my view, by using a Bridge Communications Inc GS box, or something similar. Richard Sharpe
