In a few weeks I'd like to post my study of what happens when we die. But in the mean time perhaps you could help me out. I'd like to do a really thorough study to be sure of what the Bible is really saying. So if you could send me your texts to add to my study it would be much appreciated. Since my bias happens to be that we do not go straight to heaven or to hell when we die and that hell does not burn on and on through eternity it would be most appreciated if you sent me texts that might show that I am wrong. You see, it puzzles me that when people read that in the end, when Satan is destroyed, that it is with unquenchable fire, that people say that means the fires burn on and on for ever. But when a newspaper reporter says that San Fransisco was burning with unquenchable fire we know that the reporter simply meant that the firemen could not put out the fire until the fuel was consumed. Just as Jesus spoke of Lazarus sleeping for four days, so I believe that the dead know not anything and that this time passes in the Twinkling of an eye until Jesus return and the ressurection. So please do send me your texts that might prove or support that I might be wrong. Do you have some really good ones to show that we do go to heaven when we die? I'd like to see them. Anyway, unless you ask for a dialog I'll simply read and add your texts to my data base and then put my study together and post it. Thanks in Advance, Dave [I'm going to ask you to send responses directly to David, until he posts his final article. --clh]
