For those of you interested in creation of the rec.music.christian newsgroup and have not been following the thread in news.groups, the discussion period has ended and a call for votes has been issued, with votes being accepted for the next four weeks. Those interested in voting should check out a very recent posting (late yesterday) by Caleb Cohen in news.groups for details. To summarize, most of the discussion was favorable, with several people vehemently dissenting. As a proponent of the group, I thank those of you who followed the discussion to news.groups after my original posting here. A final note (though this is stated in the official CFV): votes must be sent to Caleb Cohen (cc59@andrew.cmu.edu) and NOT to ANY newsgroup in order to be counted.
