I would like to recommend a movie for you to rent if you have a video recorder. The name of the movie is "Paul and Peter." It seems to be quite Scripturally accurate except for one small point. After Paul's conversion it states in Gal 1:17 tht he went immediately to Arabia. I think that the movie has him going to Tartus (or wherever he was originally from, could be Tarsus). other than that, from my limited knowledge of the Bible the rest is historically correct. The movie has a lot in it on the trouble between the Jewish believers, that insisted on still keeping the law, and Paul's claim tht salvation is by faith and God's grace. If you have read the Epistles enough then the movie will help you to understand why they were written. My only complaint about the movie is that paul is played by Anthony Hopkins, and he makes for a rather weak Paul. I would have loved to see a young Charelton Heston play the part. ----- Robert W.
