I just wrote an article on who and what the demonss are. It just occurred to me that some of you may ask the question, If the seas are the prison for the demons, why isn't this prison breakout proof? Why is it recorded in the Gospels of so much demon possession? The only answer that i can think of is that if you read the Old Testament you will find cases where people were able to call the spirits of the dead out of Hades. This also must be the case for the demons. People that open to these evil spirits must be able to call them out of their prison too. We must be very careful, as the Word says: 1 Tim 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the LATTER times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of demons. And Revelation warns us that during the great tribulation, the last 3 1/2 years of this age, just before Christ returns, that the demons will be loosed to harm man (five months, i believe from memory it says), and: Revelation 9:20-21 And the rest of the men that were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood; which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. (I think tht it is interesting to note that the Lord includes fornication here. this should warn some of you just how serious a sin this is.) ----- Robert W.
