This is in response to a number of articles that I have seen posted in this newsgroup. Those who have received mail from me, please feel free to Post them for me, I accidently used the -R rather than the -F command. Know this, that I am not condeming anyone, only warning, and correcting in love. If I were to remain silent on the issue, it would not be love, but hate. I must speak and testify to what I know is true. Here is an example: >It's been along time now... but I used to read many books on >the extraterrestrial contacts with people. I do not doubt one bit that people have such experiences, BUT, they are not of God. I would submit unto you that those who channel, those who are involved in the new-age movement, and several other spiritual experiences are communicating with DEMONS. I know that it sounds harsh, but listen up. "For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. AND NO WONDER, FOR SATAN HIMSELF MASQUERADES AS AN ANGEL OF LIGHT"(2 Cor 11:13-14). "Dear friends, do not beleive every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God ... This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God..."(1 John 4:1-3). Jesus Christ, who IS God, who came in the flesh and rose on the third day for our salvation, is not an ascended master. He is the LORD of the universe! By His spoken Word, at His mere command, the Universe was created, and stands firm. He is not just an ascended mastor, He is THE MASTER! Just because someone has a spiritual experience doesn't mean we are to buy it, hook line and sinker! You must check the spirits to see if they are of God. All demons are liars, every one of them. Demons are not to be trusted. Don't listen to them. In all but one incident(the man at the tombs) Jesus always commanded the demons to remain silent and then casted them out. I know this may cause a little commotion, but I write with a clear concious, knowing that I am speaking the truth. UFO's are demonic apparitions. I read about an incident a Christian lady had with a UFO. She asked it(it made a telepathic link with her) if they served Jesus where they came from. They responded that they didn't need to. She had to actually rebuke them in the name of Jesus to get rid of them! Another apparition that I believe is not the Lord is the appearances of Mary. I hope someone has the sense to test this spirit. The April message from "Jesus" does not line up with scripture, and the Lord will never tell us anything that will not line up with scripture. Remember what Jesus said, "For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many"(Matt. 24:5). I pray the recipients of my letters will post them, as I go into depth on both of these topics(UFOS and Mary). The Lord bless you all, in the name of Jesus. Amen. -Darren Kavanagh

(My apologies if this seems an unfair summary; perhaps the moderator can do better, if he has the inclination)> If my summary seems harsh, one should read the original article. The original article mentioned a lady asking aliens if they served Jesus and getting a negative reply. Be real -- if our planet ever gains the technology to visit another planet, the expedition would most likely be secular. Would such an expedition reply to a similar question positively? Would *we* then be demons? Mary's message of April was suppossably incompatible with the Bible or something like that. Assuming the poster has the message handy, could we see this message posted so we can judge for ourselves if this message is what he claims it is. It is obvious that what is obvious to some is not that obvious to others. Chris
