Wisdom Calls
Wisdom calls in her gentle voice,
Wisdom calls, Make your choice.
Understanding raises her voice.
At the crossroads Wisdom comes,
Along the trails Wisdom roams.
At the heights of rolling roads
Wisdom takes her stand;
She cries with God in thunder grand,
"I appeal to you, every child of man.
Simpletons, gain resourse; Fools, gain sense!
Heed me! For I speak the truth without recompense.
Sincerity is my way, wickedness makes me incensed!
All my words are plain to the human of intelligence.
Receive my instruction -- not silver in preference!
Knowledge is better than gold -- seek good sense!"
