Agnes Scott College - Director of Academic Computing
Applications are invited for the position of Director of Academic
Computing at Agnes Scott College, a selective liberal arts college for
women in the Atlanta area. Position to begin not later than July 1,
1990.
The Director will be responsible for acquisition, maintenance and
management of academic computing facilities for both students and
faculty, including provision of student and faculty training and
supervision of support staff. An understanding of the role of computers
in academic life in a liberal arts setting and possession of excellent
organizational and interpersonal skills important. Director should have
technical knowledge of a variety of computer systems including network
technologies. College currently supports a number of microcomputer
centers including a writing laboratory.
Ph.D. preferred. Some teaching possibly available. Send letter of
