I was wondering if anyone out there in net-land could help me
with a problem I have been having with 'mailx'.
When receiving mail from various uucp sites and using 'mailx' to
read it, I have notice that when I try to respond back to the author
mailx will try to address the message with the data from the 'From '
field instead of the 'From: ' field.
Is there something wrong with my configuration of mailx or sendmail.cf ?
I have tried various combinations of sendmail.cf and still can not get
the correct return data in the 'From ' field when I read the message using
mailx.
Is there something I an missing in the .mailrc for mailx ?
I have an Apollo system running 9.7.1 and when using mailx between local
users there is no problem.
If there is anyone out there that has this environment or has an idea
of what I'm doing wrong, I would very much appreciate any kind of help!
