Otherwise your best bet may be to go directly to Stuttgart (West Germany) and buy factory direct. A recent ad in AUTOWEEK advertises a 928 factory delivered in Stuttgart at $33,970. The information is not clear on whether shipping is included. Shipping by boat across the Atlantic may run at $1000. One can also ship a car by air; but that runs around $4000.
