Does anyone know of a VW dealer in the SF Bay area which has a decent service department? I bought a '79 Rabbit which has a recall on it because it burns oil but I don't feel like taking it back to the place I bought it from. Every time it's gone there for some work it's come back in worse shape than when I took it. The second six months I owned the car it ran terribly and I took it there every other week. They were never able to diagnose the problem until after the warantee ran out. At that point the fuel pump broke and I took it to Larry's Bug Shop (unfortunately not a dealership which will handle recall work).
