Does anyone know of a shareware or commercial product that can be used to generate checksums on UNIX files? Similar to McAfee's VALIDATE program? * Emily H. In addition, Ralph Merkle at PARC has a program called Snefru (I believe it's in a testing stage, but is readily obtainable), and RSA has a signature program called MD4. I'm sure that there are others also.]
