This is a forward from John McAfee: ================================================================= CLEAN Version 66 was released on August 10. It removes the Joshi and Fish viruses, as well as other newly reported public domain viruses that have surfaced since Version 64. SCAN Version 66 was also released on July 10. It identifies 31 new viruses, including all that have been reported up through August 9th. Version 66 also now includes a validation option that allows the user to add validation codes to all executable files, plus the boot sector and partition table. A validation check option helps the user to detect "unknown" viruses that might enter the system. The VALIDATE values for all Version 66 programs will be uploaded in a separate posting.
