I am planning on buying a new car this fall. I am looking for a front-wheel-drive 'sports-type' car that gets gas mileage >= 40 mpg/highway. Some of the cars I am considering are the Dodge/Plymouth Charger/Turismo 2.2, the Renault Fuego, and the Pontiac J2000. A Datsun 280Z, Toyota Celica Supra, etc. is not exactly what I'm looking for, and would cost more than I am willing to pay. Does anyone out there have any experience with/knowledge of any of the cars I mentioned, or any others of the same type? (I am so far leaning toward the '2.2 or the Fuego w/turbo [the engine is small]. The J2000 has electronic fuel injection, which my past experience tells me would probably be unreliable. The Fuego ad says "fuel injection", but not what type.) Please reply to me by mail, and I will summarize to the net if there seems to be general interest. Thanks in advance! Nick Di Masi ihuxd!coproc2
