I recently discovered an unknown file in my root directory called MEM-STAT.SYS. What disturbed me was that it had a System attribute, and could not be copied or deleted until that was changed. I don't remember putting it there or seeing it before, or any recent share- ware that contained such a file. Viewing with browse revealed some statements about chip speed, memory size.
