I used to date a nurse who worked emergency rooms. Every time we got into my car I would fasten my seatbelt, but she never fastened hers. I never mentioned it, but one day she volunteered an explanation: she said, "I'd rather be dead than in the same kind of shape as some of the people they bring in to our emergency room"! -- Walt Haas
