After reading that impressive article on the Ford EXP, I too wanted to give Ford a pat on the back. We just purchased a 1982 Ford GT with a 302 V8. WOW--what a car! It's so nice to have a car that can move again (just like the old days). And speed isn't all. It has a beefed up suspension which makes handling beautiful. The four speed overdrive transmission shifts so smoothly I still insist its an automatic and they put the stick there for show! We traded in an '82 Camaro for the Mustang and it really puts the Camaro to shame in workmanship and everything. Of course, the gas mileage can't be compared to economy cars--but we've been averaging about 20 MPG. (The Camaro had a 4 cylinder got about 27 MPG.) To make a long story short, we're totally satisfied. If anyone wants anymore info, feel free to ask. And remember FORD (Fine Ol' Reliable Driving)!!!
