I read the messages about the so-called WP virus. The message states that the virus attacks WP.EXE and any other EXE file. WP complains with 'Can't find correct copy of WP.EXE' and something more. This is not a WP virus ! We have to thank Wordperfect Corporation for building in a virus-checker in WP.EXE. WP checks its own EXE file and prints this message when it has been modified. This traps EXE infectors. It seems to me that this virus doesn't infect WP.EXE specifically, just any EXE file that is started, with WP.EXE as the only one giving a proper warning. Rob J. Re: duplicating pages in WP
This problem is currently being discussed on the WP50-L list. The
address for the list is WP50-L@EARN.HEARN I think they agreed that
this is a bug.

I had the same experience with WP virus. We are using floppy disks for Word Perfect 5.0 (2 disks needed). And if we put patron's disk in drive b, the WP system #1 in drive a, the contents in drive b will be gone. There are many other problems, such as the patron's current file is lost while editing it. They did not do anything except typing it. Does any body know any solution ? - -- /\ Merry Christmas /* \ / * \ and / * \ / * \ Happy New Year / * * \ ^^^^^^^^^^^^ sulistio@futon.sfsu.edu ||| sulistio@sutro.sfsu.edu ||| sulistio@sfsuvax1.sfsu.edu ||| UUCP mail : mul@wet.UUCP ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*
