[net.auto] Snow Tires in Colorado

Are snow tires required by law in the Denver area when there is x amount of
snow on the ground? How about chains?

I only know of the "chain laws" being applied to certain
mountain passes when snow/ice is bad. No requirements
seem to apply to Denver.
