The following message appeared on one of our IBM PCs: VP 9z U( 5/ ---- C h i n e s e B o m b ---- ( Made in China 1989 ) C:\WORD> C:\WORD> According to one of our technicians, the hard disk was "trashed" at that point. (He says he had to format it.) Any help would be appreciated. There was a story on the radio this morning about a 'BEIJING' virus, set to go off on the 2nd anniversary of the Tienimen Square Massacre. The story went on to imply that this virus is on hundreds of thousands of computers all over China. (I didn't know there *were* hundreds of thousands of computers in China...) Is this related?
