Sorry about the delay in getting this in here.  It's been a long week.
Anyway, on with business:




		RESULTS of the GREAT AUTO RACING VOTE

32 people responded to the question.  The total count of votes is 22 in
favor of a separate subgroup, and 10 against.  So racing discussions will
be moved out of net.auto shortly.  Most of the yay voters liked the idea
of "net.auto.race", and a few suggested putting it in "net.rec.race"; in
the grand tradition of going along with the majority, I propose that the
new newsgroup be "net.auto.race".  Now - I'm not familiar with the proce-
dure of creating a new newsgroup, so if anybody in netland would like to
lend a hand...
