Yes, I've noticed that problem here also. This bug is very easy to reproduce with my version of mushtool. Sorry, I have no solution. I've also encountered one of the bugs mentioned in the description of fixes for Official Patch #4. My mushtool crashes when attempting to display large messages under certain conditions. I saved Patch #4, but I never did save patches 1-3. If you can ftp to ucbvax, you can pick up the entire package in pub/mush-6.5.tar.Z (no sense in ftp-ing the patches when you can just get the whole thing).
