Well the Pontiac P car "Fiero" is to come out next fall and as already mentioned it will be a two seat fiberglass mid engine car for great fun. The initial model is supposed to stay under the $10,000 mark but rumors have it that a high performance model with a 180-200hp 2.9 liter V6 with turbocharger is to be available a little later on. According to some people testing one of the new cars the new V6 is to establish Pontiac as the performance leader among American car manufacturers! This car looks like a lot of fun and should prove interesting on the race track ..... maybe I'll have to give up the old Sunbeam Tiger! Sneak previews of the upcoming Buick two seater show it to be just a ho-hum commuter car and just doesn't have the lines of the P car! You know the performance is back when you see it mentioned on national news as on NBC last night (12/6/82) who reported that Detroit is putting the fun back into driving.
